Tips for a Smooth Build
Make the most of your creative time
1. Check & Store Pieces Carefully
We recommend checking all contents upon arrival and keeping all pieces in a safe place throughout assembly.
Note: If any parts are lost or damaged after you start building, QualiBoxz is not responsible for replacements or refunds.
2. Read the Manual First
Before you begin, take a moment to read through the assembly manual and introduction pages.
📖 Why It Matters:
Many common mistakes happen when builders skip the notices or the first few pages. These sections often include small but important details about orientation, sequence, and part handling.
⏳ Quick Tip:
A short read before starting can save hours of fixing later. It’s the easiest way to make your build smoother and stress-free.
3. Mistakes? No Problem!
🧩 Minor Issues:
Tiny misalignments can usually be covered or adjusted later. Don’t stress over them. They rarely affect the final look once everything’s assembled.
🛠️ Bigger Breaks:
If a major part snaps, use strong glue or a hot glue gun to repair it. Take your time and hold the piece in place until set.
🎨 Be Creative:
If something can’t be fixed, craft or find a substitute piece that blends into the design. Many builders add their own creative touches this way.
4. Use Glue Carefully
💧 Amount:
The glue provided is measured precisely for all pieces. Once dry, it’s strong. Just use enough for it to hold. Avoid using too much at the beginning.
🔧 Clogged Nozzle:
If the tip clogs, cut off a very small section or clear it gently with a pin. Always close the cap after use to prevent drying.
🖐️ On Hands:
If glue gets on your hands, wash immediately with warm soapy water. Avoid touching food or your face until clean.
5. Allow Time for Drying
Some components (especially glued parts) may need a bit of time to dry. Don’t rush. Work on other areas while you wait for sections to set properly.
6. Mind Your Posture
We know it’s easy to get completely immersed. But don’t forget to stand up, stretch, and move around. Give your body regular breaks while you build.
7. Don’t Rush the Process
These are detailed projects meant to be savoured. If you’re getting tired or stuck, that’s okay. Come back tomorrow with fresh eyes. Take your time and enjoy the experience.
8. Keep Your Workspace Tidy
A clear table = a clear mind. Lay out all parts and tools before you begin. It’ll make finding what you need easier and help prevent losing tiny pieces.
